The Avenue Ultrasound is fast approaching securing access to almost 200 scanning sites nationally, steering the business to take lead position as one of the largest independent scanning providers in the UK. The Avenue Ultrasound provides private patients with access to high-quality ultrasound services, utilising experienced UK-trained ultrasound sonographers. Appointments are based on self-referral, GP referral and referral from other HCPC practitioners such as physiotherapists, chiropracters, and other. The service is underpinned by a robust clinical governance program putting patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and patient experience at the centre of our service. Ultrasound examinations will be continuously audited to ensure excellence both in terms of imaging and reporting.

The Avenue Ultrasound believes that patients should get the right test at the right time in a location most suited to their clinical needs. This is why we are fast adding more scanning provider locations to our portfolio, ensuring patients do not have to wait on lengthy NHS timetables across the Yorkshire and Greater Manchester regions.

Results are delivered rapidly enabling prompt treatment or onward referral to be arranged. Images and reports can be provided if you require further medical care in a hospital or with another organisation so further care is not delayed.

There are many referrals pathways to obtaining an ultrasound scan at our multiple locations. Patients can utilise a self-referral option, be referred by the GP or other Allied Health Professionals.
